With the support from ‘Selat: Links Through the Arts’ project, the Acapella choir project, Aghaneena,  was launched in Tripoli, Lebanon. The choir consists of young Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. Supervision and training was provided by Maestro Barkev Taslakian from the Fayha Choir.

 

A joint concert between Aghaneena and Fayha Choir was held at Beit El Fann in Tripoli, which featured traditional Palestinian and Arab songs. The concert was attended by 300 people. Another concert was held at Jerusalem Hall in Baddawi Refugee Camp, and was attended by more than 200 people.
